In this day and age, 100% certainty on any matter or subject is uncertain at best. However, God tells us in the Bible that you can be 100% sure what will happen after death... "These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life." 1 John 5:13.

What do you need to know from God’s Word to be 100% certain of your eternity?

1. Realize Your Condition

For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. (Romans 3:23)

Sin is the breaking of God’s law. No matter how much good we do, no one is good enough to get to Heaven on their own merit.

2. Recognize the Penalty for Sin

For the wages of sin is death... (Romans 6:23a)

And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. (Revelation 20:15)

The penalty for sin is eternal punishment in a place called Hell.

3. Remember Jesus Died to Pay for Sin

But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. (Romans 5:8)

Jesus loved you so much that He died on the cross to pay your sin debt.

4. Receive Jesus Christ as Your Saviour

For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. (Romans 10:13)

The blood of Jesus Christ makes eternal life a free gift to all who will call upon Him in faith.
